The EU-BRITE INCITE team is pleased to support the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) in the promotion of the upcoming workshop:

“Mapping and monitoring the transition of Energy-Intensive Industries to climate neutrality through factsheets”
📅 1 December 2025
📍 Brussels, Belgium
🔗 Event information and registration

As part of this initiative, the EU-BRITE INCITE team has contributed to the preparation of the Glass and Pulp & Paper sector factsheets, which form part of the broader effort to map technological pathways, innovation trends, and decarbonisation potential across energy-intensive industries. INCITE also contributed helping to identify and map demonstrators applying innovative technologies in energy intensive industrial sectors across Europe.

DG RTD invite industry stakeholders, technology developers, research organisations, policymakers, and financial actors to register and take part in this event. The engagement is essential to ensure the factsheets reflect the latest sectoral insights and support the transition towards a climate-neutral European industry.
